Frequently Asked Questions

All Virginia driver's education students under the age of 18 and their parent or guardian are required by law to participate in a 90-Minute Parent/Student Presentation.

All students under age 18 are eligible EXCEPT for those students living in Planning District 8. Planning District 8 students are NOT eligible to take this online class and must take this 90-minute component "in-person" (in a classroom). Click here to find out if you live in Planning District 8.

You can complete the course at your own pace logging on and off as many times as necessary to complete the course, but we highly suggest that you complete in as few logins as possible.

You will NOT receive a certificate of completion as this is a component of the 30-hour driver's education program. We will verify your completion in our databases.

There is NO separate fee for this presentation. The cost is incorporated into the price of our 30-hour driver's education course.

There are NO special system requirements or downloads necessary to take this online course. Make sure your speakers are turned on so you and your parent can listen to our page narrations.

  1. To begin, return to our home page and click on the "Sign Up" button or on the "Sign Up (New?)" link in our menu section.
  2. Select your course.
  3. Fill out the registration form.
  4. Review the information and click on the "register" button.
  5. The list of sessions will appear. Click on the "start course" button to begin learning!

No; you can log-in, re-enter, and take the course using any computer/device with any type of Internet connection.

You can either go to our home page and click the 'Log In' button (under "Returning Student?") or you can click the 'Log In (Returning?)' link in our menu section. Then you will just enter your First Name, Last Name, and Birthday and click the "Login" button to resume the course. Don't worry, our student progress monitoring feature will allow to pick up exactly where you left off.
